Forty seven persons were on Friday , December 9 feared killed in a twin bomb blast that rocked the Madagawa area of Adamawa State.
Several other persons believed to be in scores were also wounded in the blast that President Muhammadu Buhari had commiserated with the residents and victims of the attack.
The blast was coming few days after President Buhari had claimed that his administration has successfully dealt with the islamiist fundamentalists in the country.
The army had on several occasions boasted of degrading ghetto Boko Haram insurgents , assuring Nigerians that the issue of Internally Displaced Persons would be history by next year.
Yesterday’s attack not only jolted Adamawa indigenes , bur served as a sad reminder of what ghetto people have been going through on the past few years.
