Bishop Joseph Danlami Bagobiri of the Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan is dead. He was aged, 60.
Bishop Bagobiri peacefully answered the call of his creator today at the Arch-Bishop’s House in Kaduna.
Bagobiri was the bishop who stood by the Catholic Diocese of Ahiara Mbaise in her trying time advocating that truth, fairness and justice be granted to Mbaise Catholic Faithful.
Born on November 8, 1957, Bagobiri was ordained a Catholic Priest on June 11, 1983 at the age of 25 years.
Twenty-two years later and at the age of 37, he was appointed Bishop of Kafanchan Diocese on July 10, 1995 and ordained Bishop of same diocese on October 21, 1995.
