The United States Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, was on Tuesday afternoon sacked by President Donald Trump and promptly replaced, hours after Tillerson was in Nigeria.
Tillerson was Tuesday afternoon in high spirits, throwing banters with President Muhammadu Buhari in the Aso Presidential Villa in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.
But this Tuesday afternoon Tillerson suddenly found himself fired from his job by Trump.
He was fired via Twitter by Trump, who tweeted: “Thank you to Rex Tillerson for his service! Gina Haspel will become the new Director of the CIA, and the first woman so chosen. Congratulations to all!”
