Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State may have come to terms with the political reality in the state, declaring on Tuesday night that the people will determine who they want to govern them in 2019.

In a subtle manner of dumping his son inlaw, Uche Nwosu whom he had earlier endorsed to succeed him, Okorocha told a gathering of Imo indigenes during a media chat that followed his scorecard presentation that he still thinks his chief of staff has the capacity to continue from where he stopped.

He reiterated that the 27 local government areas in Imo State came to him to say they want Nwosu to succeed Okorocha, adding that as it stands, it is still the Imo people who will determine who governs them.

Okorocha took time to enumerate his projects in the past seven years of his administration and insisted that all the past governments in Imo put together never performed more than his regime of just seven.

Okorocha regretted that many of those who were critical of the All Progressive Congress are now ghe one causing problems for the party in the state.
