Senator Stella Oduah, aviation minister during President Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency,  has formally joined the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

Oduah, representing Anambra North, dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to join APGA on Wednesday  at a ceremony held at the party’s national office in Abuja.

Oduah’s defection confirms Armadanews.com exclusive report on Tuesday indicating she would dump her former party for another today (Wednesday).

Some national and state executives of APGA, as well other party stakeholders were on hand to welcome  Oduah into their party.

They  include Senator Victor Umeh ( Anambra Central), Ben Obi (Igwe APGA), Sir Norbert Obi (Anambra State APGA Chairman), Uchenna Okafor (Anambra State Commissioner for Transport), among others.

National Chairman of APGA, Victor Oye said that Oduah had proven her worth in the Senate and was therefore welcome to APGA.

Oye said APGA has now turned the beautiful bride in South Eastern Nigeria and that many more will join the party ahead of the 2019 elections.

“We are confident of clinching the governorship seats in the entire South East come 2019 and will also have strong showings at both state and national legislative elections in other states,” Oye said.
