The Department of State Security (DSS) Director General, Lawal Daura has been sacked by Acting Yemi President Osinbajo.
He was asked to handover to the most senior officer in the DSS.
No reason was given.
But operatives of the DSS were said to have taken over the National Assembly on Tuesday where they prevented the personnel and lawmakers from having access to the NASS complex.
It is believed that Osinbajo got across to President Muhammadu Buhari who gave him the not to sack Daura.
