Senate President Bukola Saraki has described the threat to impeach him by the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress as a wishful thinking.
Oshiomhole told a news conference in Abuja on Friday that Saraki will be impeached constitutionally if he refuses to resign his position.
But in a statement by Saraki’s media Adviser, Yusph Olaniyanu on Friday, he reminded Oshiomhole of the section of the constitution that allows the senate to choose its leaders not along the line of party loyalty but on the basis of senare membership.
Saraki wondered why the change on the mind of the APC leadership now is to change his leadership and told them they will fail as the thought of removing him is nothing but wishful thinking.
Saraki spoke after the PDP leadership earlier in the day had responded to Oshiomhole and the APC to perish an idea they know is impossible.
