President Muhammadu Buhari will be meeting with the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus at the Presidential Villa, Abuja ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The meeting expected to start by 9 pm on Tuesday was attended by members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party led by Adams Oshiomhole , state governors elected on the platform of the party and the National leader APC.
Also expected at the meeting are federal lawmakers and party chieftains.
Armadanews.com also gathered that there are so many aggrieved APC members from across the country who were laying in wait at the Villa to see Buhari to complain about developments in their states before they take final decision ahead of proper electioneering.
The meeting was the first Buhari would be having with the party’s caucus after the gale of defection that hit the APC.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, National leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, and the newly defected senator Godswill Akpabio were some of those in attendance.
Sources said the meeting looked at the lingering crisis in the National Assembly, particularly the insistent on the senate President, Bukola Saraki, relinguishing his position.
