The military hierarchy has pulled out if the premises of Daily Trust newspaper which the personnel invaded on Sunday and arrested two of the editorial members.
The army seized the Abuja and Maiduguri offices of the medium over the Sunday edition of the newspaper which the leadership suspected did not portray them in good light as regards their operstions in parts of the north.
Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari , Garba Shehu confirmed the withdrawal of soldiers from Daily Trust on Monday.
His confirmation came as the military hierarchy said they were at the newspaper premises on investigation mission.
The Regional editor of the newspaper and another reporter were arrested and taken away by the soldiers when they invaded the premises.
