The senate has put off the resumption date for tomorrow, January 29 as earlier announced. No reasons were given.
It may be connected to feeler from the All Progressive Congress Senators meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday.
Senate President Bukola Saraki had earlier said the senate will reconvene after the leadership’s meeting on Sunday to deliberate on the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen on Friday by Buhari.
