Former chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Chidi Odinkalu has faulted the governir of Kaduna State over the death of 66 persons in the state on the eve of the postponed presidential and national assembly elections.
Odinkalu said El-Rufai must be hold to account on the killings which only him and his publicists are aware of.
El- Rufai said on Friday, February 15 that 66 persons were killed in Kajuru area of Kaduna State among them, women and children.
There was apprehension over the report coming on the eve of tge elections.
But speaking on a Channels television programme, The Verdict in Saturday, Odinkalu said the report from the governor was lie and smacks of interest Nigerians must be made to know.
Odinkalu said he had made all the contacts there was to be made in Kajuru and its environment and nobody seems to be awsre of such incident.
He challenged El-Rufai to take him and other stakeholders to the place the persons were killed as well as where their corpses have been deposited.
“I do not think we should allow El-Rufai or any other person to get away with is,” Odinkalu said.
