Senate President Bukola Saraki haa lost his reelection bid to the senate on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party in Kwara State.
Saraki lost to the All Progressive Congress candidate. All three senatorial seats were won by the APC.
But the speaker of the house of representatives, Yakubu Dogara won his reelection in Bauchi state also on the PDP platform beating his opponent in the APC.
Senator Biodun Olujimi also lost the bid to return to the senate in Ekiti state where all the three seats were won by the APC candidates.
