Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has gone to beg President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock over his suspension last week by the leadership of the All Progressive Congress.
Amosun and his counterpart in Imo State, Rochas Okorocha were suspended by the APC National Working Committee for anti party activities.
Amosun supports APM candidate while Okorocha supports AA candidate in the forthcoming governorship and state assembly elections.
Amosun, a close ally of Buhari took advantage of the relationship and visited the President on Sunday where he pledged continuing loyalty to Buhari and to tell him while he cannot abandon the candidate of the APM, Adekunle Akinlade for the governorship for now.
On his part, Okorocha is busy renting supporters to further denigrate the APC leadrership represented by Buhari.
Amosun told reporters he went to felicitate with Buhari on his victory at the poll but said he has nothing to say concerning his suspension from APC.
He also thanked his suppprters in Ogun for voting him in as one of their senators amd urged them to come out on Saturday March 9 to vote Akinlade instead of the APC candidate, Dapo Abiodun.
