Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has said that his suspension from the All Progressive Congress by the leadership will not stand.
The National Working Committee of tje APC suspended Okorocha and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State respectively last week over anti-party activities.
Okorocha told Channels Television on Sunday from Owerri that National Chairman of the party Adams Oshiomhole canmot suapend him because he did not follow due process.
He said Oshiomhole is the master of anti party activities in APC and that he lacks the morals to suspend him or any other person.
Okorocha inisted that Oshiomhole cannot stop him from attending the National Executive Council anytime the meeting is called.
The APC NWC said Okorocha and Amosun would be reported to the NEC to approve theie formal expulsion from the party any moment from now.
Speaking on why he is supporting Uche Nwosu who is the candidate of the Action Alliance instead of Hope Uzodinma of the APC, Okorocha said Nwosu won the primaries in Imo State and that he is still APC in spirit and will return to the party in due time.
