The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has won the election in the unit of the former governor of the state and the Director General of the Atiku Campaign Organisation, South, Gbenga Daniel.
Daniel vowed not to support the candidate of his own party, Buruji Kashamu.
That was the fall out of the coalition between Daniel and Abiodun on Wednesday who promised to deliver his polling unit to the Ogun State APC candidate.
At the end of voting at the unit at Isote, Sagamu, APC polled 150 votes, while the Allied Peoples Movement polled 96 votes.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) had 25 votes, while the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) scored 13 votes.
Daniel, a former governor of Ogun State, adopted Abiodun at the last minute, against the PDP’s candidate, Kashamu.
