Emeka Ihedioha, Governor-elect of Imo State, has thanked the people of Imo State for voting him as governor and has also promised to run an all-inclusive government for the benefit of every member of the state.
He did on Tuesday while addressing newsmen shortly after the declaration of the election result by the Returning Officer.
Ihedioha also called on his fellow contestants to come on board and support his government to ensure greater development for the people of the state.
Already, the deputy governor of Imo state, Ezse Madumere, governorship candidates of the Accord Party, Ikedi Ohakim and UPP, Tony Nwulu of have congratulated the governor-elect.
Madumere said Ihedioha’s victory is victory of Owerri zone while Ohakim pledged to support Ihedioha to succeed in his administration.
