President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met with his security chiefs over the killings in Zamfara and rising insecurity in other parts of the north like Kaduna, Borno, Yobe states.
Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olanisakin led his other security chiefs from the army, navy, air force and police to the meeting in Aso Rock.
After the meeting that lasted for about two hours, Buhari was said to have ordered the security chiefs to deal ruthlessly with bandits and kidnappers found in any part of the country.

The acting Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, who also spoke said that the kidnappings on Abuja-Kaduna road had been dealt with.
