The Governing Council of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka has appointed a new Vice Chancellor for the institution.
He is Prof. Okechukwu Charles Esimone, a Deeper Life church Pastor and erudite scholar who was ones a Deputy VC (Academics), among other positions.
A letter signed by Dr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, Director of Information and Public Relations said the Chairman of the Council, Alhaji Azeez Oladotun Bello had already congratulted Prof Esimone on his appointment.
The ne Vc takes over from Prof Joseph Ahaneku.
