East High Schools belonging to Mrs Uloma Nwosu, daughter of former governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has been sealed by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The EFCC did on Tuesday July 23, 2019 sealing the East High Academy and East High College both private Primary and Secondary Schools located at new Owerri, Imo State.
The schools belong to Mrs Nwosu, who is also wife of the former Imo State Chief of Staff to now Senator Okorocha, Uche Nwosu.
The schools are believed to be products of illicit finacial acquisition of public funds and there are insinuations that the EFCC has been secretly investigating the ownership of the schools.
According to reports Mrs Nwosu has been a guest to EFCC office where she has been answering questions bordering on how to acquired the schools and other property linked to her and the husband.
Many Imo indigenes believe the schools and many other property belonging to the Nwosu were allegedly acquired through proceeds of fraud.
The Imo State governor, Emeka Ihedioah recently said under Okorocha, more than 250 accounts were operated that made accounting system in the state a big joke.
An EFCC officials told armadanews.com when contacted that the anti-graft agency was investigating the activities of many past governments, including Imo State.
He refused to be drawn into the exact ownership of property under their probe.
