The interconnection face off between the two giant GSM providers- MTN and Glo- is getting messier.
Users of the two providers can no longer communicate easily as a result of the challenge.
” Pls contact your provider. Unfortunately you cannot make calls for now….,” is what you get from glo line that intends to call an MTN number since last week.
MTN claims that Glo was indebted to them to the tune of N10 billion from interconnection relationship.
The flipside of the face off is that many of the customers of Glo are now itching to port away from the provider.
” How can Glo claim to be giant GSM providers when they cannot settle their indebtedness to their benefactor? “, asks a Glo customer who spoke to Armadanews.com on Monday.
” This is always the problem with one man business. Adenuga has done well for himself byt he must be careful not to allow simple business relationship that borders on trust do him in,” another customer told this newspaper.
We have it on good authority that the problem with MTN is even affecting personnel of Glo whose relatives, friends and associates use MTN.

Funso Aina of MTN did not take his calls while an official in Glo said the matter was receing attention at the highest level.
