Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly(COZA) Abuja, Biodun Fatoyinbo, has been granted administrative bail by the Police.
By 9 pm on Tuesday, Fatoyinbo was still battling for his bail as he awaited the arrival o a key witness in the case from Port Harcourt to volunteer his statement to the police before the bail processes were processed.
Fatoyinbo was questioned for hours by detectives over rape levelled against him by celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo.
Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba confirmed that Fatoyinbo was in police custody when he was contacted earlier in the day.
According to Mba, A deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Fatoyinbo’s bail depended on the charge preferred against him by the investigating police officers at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
However, a source who is part of the investigation told Armadanews.com that Fatoyinbo will be charged soon for rape, because,” rape is a criminal offence in Nigeria.”
