Robert Mugabe, ex-president of Zimbabwe, dies at 95

Brutal former President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe is dead. He died in a Singapore hospital, aged 95.

His death was confirmed by Emmerson Mmangwana his successor in twitter post.

Mugabe, father of independence Zimbabwe was a freedom fighter and became Prime in 1963 and after seven years metamorphed as President and ruled with ruthlessness till 2017 when he was forced out of office in a palace coup at 93.

He was credited for taking the farms of white minority farmers in Zimbabwe and handing them over to the locals, a move that brought famine to the country.

Highly educated with several degrees, Mugabe manipulated the constitution of Zimbabwe to no end when in power and successfully riased an army of cheer leaders who saw him as the best thing to happen to the country.

News of his passing is both being celebrated and mourned by Zimbabweans depending on the camps the people belong.

Mmwangana described his death as a big loss to Zimbabwe and called on his people to mourn the man he refers to as the father of Zimbabwe’s independence and politics.

Those who are regretting Mugabe’s death are the locals he parcelled farm lands to and urged to see the whites in their country and elsewhere in Africa ad instrumental to their hunger, poverty, diseases, joblessness and other woes.
