Bruno Bayet, Lafarge Africa Plc Chief Finance Officer, has resigned. No reason has been given so far for his resignation.

Bruno emerged the company’s Chief Financial Officer on October 1, 2016 on the resignation of Anders Kristiansson on September 30, 2016.

Lafarge confirmed the resignation on Wednesday in a notification letter to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) obtained by the Armadanews.com.

Mobolaji Balogun, the company’s Chairman, who signed the notification letter to the NSE commended Bruno for his personal commitment, dedication and the significant contributions made during his three years at Lafarge Africa.

Balogun said Lafarge Africa had initiated the process of finding Bruno’s replacement which may take into consideration, internal and external candidates.

Mrs Marie-Christiane Kaul-Meledge, Balogun said, would act in the capacity of Chief Finance Officer until a successor was appointed.
