Movement for the Actualization for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has frowned at the order from the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for a sit at home, saying the arrangement does not help for their struggle.
IPOB had directed its members to sit at home on May 30 which they said is there own way of observing the 17th year of the struggle of Biafra.
MASSOB zonal information director for Abia central Anselm Ogbonna said those calling for sit at home lack the true knowledge of what is necessary, adding that nations do not celebrate their independence anniversary by sitting at home.
Obviously, MASSOB had released her time table for the 17th anniversary celebration, but, this does not go down well with IPOB leadership.
The one week time table for Abia Central whose leader, Felix Ezekwem signed indicated that activities will kick off on May 22 and end on May 30 with different activities lined up for the event.
MASSOB enjoined all Biafrans to join hands to make the anniversary a success.
But the IPOB leadership think different about celebration as they want their supporters to ignore the MASSOB and stay at home on May 30.
