Tam David-West, a professor at the university of Ibadan and consultant Virologist is dead. Aged 83, he died on Sunday.
A former minister of petroleum under Muhammadu Buhari as head of state, mines and power under Ibrahim Babangida and commissioner for education in Rivers State, David-West would be remembered for his straightforwardness.
A staunch supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari his greatest regret would be that Buhari has not been able to stabilise the pump price of the petroleum.
Buhari has already sent a condolence message regretting David-West’s passing.
