Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chiji Collins on Tuesday led seven other members to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
With their defection, the APC now has more members in the Imo Assembly with 19.
Lasat week nine members of the Assembly formally joined the ruling party in the state, paving the way for more lawmakers to follow suit.
