President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation tonight by 7pm, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has said.
Earlier, the President, had at a National Council Meeting on Thursday, charged government at all levels to find a solution to the crises rocking Nigeria following Tuesday’s shooting of unarmed anti-police brutality protesters in Lekki, area of Lagos.
The president noted that the riots are taking an unwanted dimension and could result in anarchy.
Adesina, in a statement urged “Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast”.
