Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has congratulated former Governor of Osun State and the All Progressive Congress first interim national chairman, Chief Adebisi Akande as he turned 82.
Governor Uzodimma said Chief Akande is not only an elder statesman, great administrator and an astute advocate of progressive democracy, but that Chief Akande has remained a father figure and committed party man who will do everything within his capacity to ensure that APC remains united and strong.
Governor Uzodimma said he is not surprised that Chief Akande has achieved so much in public and private life, noting that his commitment to issues he is committed to speaks volume of his person.
The governor said he joins Chief Akande’s family and numerous friends and associates to wish him many more years of God’s grace in good health and longevity of life, according to a statement by Oguwike Nwachuku, Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser to Governor Uzodimma.
