Nineteen countries have reiterated their commitment to the pact in Paris on Climate Change which was signed few years back.
They did as they rounded off their meeting of G20 in Hamburg in Germany at the weekend.
President Donald Trump of the United States of America hinted last month that the US was not interested in the climate change arrangements as decided in Paris and so will not heed the decisions reached by the countries that attended the meeting.
But at the just concluded G20 Summit British Prime Minister Theresa May urged Trump to reconsider his decision on the Climate Change, noting that Britain is unequivocally committed to it because of the benefits to mankind globally.
Meanwhile it was a golden opportunity for the US and Russia to take a second look at the on going crises in Syria with a view to ending it. Both Trump and Vladimir Putin met for hours on the way forward even though the meeting was originally planned to last for minutes.
