Another wailing and loud lamentation were heard in Kaduna on Tuesday when it was reported that 37 persons were butchered in another Fulani herdsmen and farmers clash.
Kajuru local government area of the state was again the venue of the killings after barely one week four persons believed to be hersdmen were reportedly killed in the same neighbourhood.
Tuesday’s incident which the police in Kaduna confirmed was connected to a reprisal attack launched on the area by the Fulani herdsmen who were believed to be retaliating the killing of their members.
Tension has again built up in the place with the police having hectic time to maintain law and order. But the commissioner of police, Angyob Abeh is hopefull his men will contain the killings.
He asked all law abiding citizens to go about their lawfull businesses believing the police will protect them.
