The Federal Capital Territory High Court, sitting in the Wuse area of Abuja has remanded Peter Nwachukwu, husband of the late gospel singer, Osinachi, in the Kuje Correctional Facility.
Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme gave the order on Friday after Nwachukwu pleaded not guilty to 23 charges bordering on domestic violence and homicide, among others.
He will remain in the correctional facility pending the hearing and determination of the homicide-related suit instituted against him by the Attorney General of the Federation.
The judge also granted an accelerated hearing and adjourned till June 16 for the commencement trial.
