…Commissioner designates to be sworn in at a later date
Governor Hope Uzodimma will, Thursday, August 11, 2022, swear-in the 27 Sole Administrators (SOLADS) for the Local Government Areas of Imo State.
He is also holding action on the swearing in of the Commissioner designates who were screened by the House of Assembly together with the SOLADs on Wednesday.
Those already screened include Chief Cosmas Maduba, Prof. Ukachukwu Iwuji Opara and Chief Jerry Egemba.
Oguwike Nwachuku, Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser to the Governor, said in a statement on Wednesday that the swearing-in cereminy of the 27 SOLADs takes place at the Sam Mbakwe expanded Executive Chambers, Government House, Owerri at 11am.
All the affected persons, according to the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Cosmas Iwu, are expected to be seated by 10am ahead of the arrival of the Governor.
