Former President Goodluck Jonathan has thrown more light on the burglary that took place at his Abuja home recently, explaining that six policemen were among the suspects.
The theft took place at his Gwarimpa Abuja resident.
He said he bought the property from CITEC estate developers in 2004, and that burglary took place last month.
Jonathan said he reported the matter to the police who carried out investigation and discovered that six policemen were among the thieves that stole the home blind.
Jonathan’s media adviser, Ikechukwu Eze said in a statement on Tuesday, August 1 that contrary to reports that 36 Plasma television sets and 25 refrigerators were removed from the house, only six television sets, three refrigerators and one gas cooker were removed from the modest four bedroom duplex.
However, he confirmed that the burglars stole every moveable thing in the house including furniture sets, beds, electronics, toilet and electrical fittings among other things items.
