The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed Dr. Isa Abdulmumin as the Acting Director, Corporate Communications Department.
Abdulmumin’s appointment followed the retirement of Osita Nwanisobi from service.
Nwanisobi, took over in October 2020 in active capacity when his predecessor, Mr Isaac Okorafor, retired from service. He was confirmed as the director, corporate communications department in 2021.
Abdulmumin, an accomplished public and media relations expert, is a Deputy Director in the Corporate Communications Department.
He rose through the ranks in the CBN through his tenacity, brilliance and astuteness. Expectedly, he will bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new position.
