Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has reiterated his stance on Gareth Bale remaining at the Bernabeu, despite Jose Mourinho’s recent comments.
The Manchester United boss has made no secret of his desire to have Bale at his disposal, and recently added fuel to the fire regarding a possible summer transfer.
With little under a month remaining in the transfer window, Mourinho suggested his summer spending has not stopped yet, implying a move for Bale could be on the cards if there are signs the player will have a lack of game time in Spain.
The Manchester United manager claimed he will be watching keenly to see whether Bale plays for Real Madrid in Tuesday’s Super Cup final.
Mourinho believes Real want to keep the Welshman but revealed United will be front of the queue should he become available.
