Mr Akinola George-Taylor has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Heritage Bank.
Ozena Utulu, the bank’s Group Head, Corporate Communications made this known in a statement on Sunday. He said that the appointment of the new CEO, followed the approval of the bank’s board.
Utulu further stated that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) had also approved George-Taylor’s appointment. George-Taylor joined Heritage Bank as Acting Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer on Sept. 12, 2022.
He is succeeding Ifie Sekibo.The statement said George-Taylor would oversee the bank’s operations and work toward implementing its next phase of transformation.
