The former militant leader made the accusation after a closed-door meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the presidential villa on Friday.
Dokubo, who also linked those he described as powerful cabals operating from Abuja to oil thefts in Nigeria, vowed that he would use “his boys” to assist the government halt the evil act.
He stated that President Tinubu has promised to investigate the allegations of massive illegal oil bunkering by notorious naval commanders and also promised to take decisive action to halt the shameful act.
Dokubo noted that ordinary Niger Delta citizens who are often blamed for oil theft in Nigeria are not responsible, as they do not have the wherewithal to perform such sophisticated act.
He lamented that the illicit act has stripped the people of the Niger Delta of their livelihood, describing it as a crime against humanity.
