A former Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, and eight others, including her former aide, Gloria Odita, have been arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja for fraud related offences.

They were arraigned before Justice Inyang Ekwo on a 25 count charge bordering on conspiracy, money laundering and maintaining anonymous bank accounts with First Bank Plc with about N5billion involved.

They all pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them.

Thereafter, Justice Ekwo ordered that the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) take over the matter and directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to transfer the case file to the AGF in two weeks.

Justice Ekwo also upheld the existing administrative bail conditions granted the accused by the EFCC, adding that the terms of conditions, be made available to the AGF.

The matter was adjourned to October 17, 2023 for trial.
