Buhari Departs UK, Arrives Nigeria 4pm

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected back in the country today, the Presidency has confirmed.

He has already left and heading for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, a source told Armadanews.com.

He will arrive the country at 4pm having left London 10.30am aboard Eagle 1 Presidential Jet.

All is said to be set for his coming back with government apparatus on stand by at the seat of power in Aso Rock, Abuja.

Presidential spokesman Adesina said Buhari will address the country on Monday.

Buhari left the country on May 7 and has been away for more than three months in London where he was being diagnosed of yet to be known ailment.

He handed over to his deputy, Yemi Osinbajo in acting capacity while leaving for medical checks.

Ahead of his coming back today, many government officials, and church leaders had visited him in London.

His long absence from office had also precipitated protests back home where he was being told to return and resume or resign.

There were also those who protested in his support.

Buhari’s key staff are waiting in office according to an order given to them on Friday his chief of staff Abba Kyari.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to receive Buhari together with the service chiefs and the Inspector General of Police.
