Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the lawmaker representing Anambra South is dead.
Uba, 52, according to close family source, died in London on Saturday morning, where he had gone for the graduation of his child.
His wife, Uche was said to have been with him in his hotel room where he died.
The family source said the business mogul and owner of Capital Oil and Gas died of heart attack.
Ubah was elected to the Senate in 2019, on the platform of the Young People Party (YPP).
He was reelected senator in 2023 also on the ticket of YPP.
He recently defected from the YPP to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
