A member of the Board of Trustees of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Sharon Ikeazor has said the South East is not marginalised.
She spoke in an interview with Channels Televion Hard Copy on Saturday, September 16, noting that the region has not effectively utilised what has come to its place.
Ikeazor’ s position runs counter to that of the Igbo socio cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo which has said repeatedly that the South East is marginalised by government and particularly the APC administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Though Ikeazor is an APC chieftain from Anambra State, she refused to speak on the political situation in her state.
She said she is a professional in politics and not a professional politician.
On the clash between the military and the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Ikeazor advocated dialogue which will require both men and women discussing the way forward.
Speaking in her capacity as Executive Director of Pension Transformation Administration (PTAD) Ikeazor cautioned against pulling the police, military, prisons and other molitary and paramilitary organisations out of the system that she claims is not working.
