Thirteen persons have been confirmed dead and 56 others seriously injured as two female suicide bombers attacked Biu area of Borno State on Saturday.
The attack was carried out in a market.
The police authorities in the state confirmed the development but said measures had been taken to secure the place.
Borno State police command spojesman Victor Isuku who confirmed the attack advised the people to me more vigilant and security conscious.
