Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has returned to the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) ince more.

Atiku did on Sunday according to his media office that cited a twit by the former Vice President.

Atiku is returning to the party for the second time after he quit over irreconcilable differences with the leadership of the PDP at different times in the past.

There have been speculations about the party Atiku intended to berth after he recently resigned from the All Progressive Alliance (APC)  where he was part of the forces that made it possible for the ruling party to defeat the PDP in the 2015 presidential election.

Atiku was silent on his new party when he rendered his resignation letter from the APC  last month but many Nigerians said they knew he was eying the PDP.

Recently when former President Goodluck Jonathan spoke in an interview with a national medium he made reference to Atiku going to beg his former boss,  former President Olusegun Obasanjo as the latter could not be ignored by anyone intending to govern Nigeria.

Many PDP cheiftains had also spoken about Atiku’s intention to use the party to run for the presidential election in 2019, saying no automatic ticket awaits him.

However, Atiku’s return to the PDP is not exciting many Nigerians as they say he has become a political prostitute, jumping from one party to another because of his ambition.
