At least eight commissioners in the Governor Mohammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow- led All Progressive Congress (APC) controlled state Government, have pulled out in solidarity with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who left the party recently.
The serving commissioners , believed to be die hard loyalists of Atiku include Dr. Fatima Atiku Abubakar, currently the commissioner of health in the state, the commissioner for works and housing, Barrister Lilian Stephen, the commissioner for land and survey, Yayaji Mijinyawa and the the commissioner for youths and sports, Mr Augustine Ayuba.
Others are Alhaji Daware, commerce and trade and Ahmadu Waziri, Agriculture..
The decision had caused temporary set back for the state government.
Governor Bindow recently told President Muhammadu Buhari he would not leave APC with Atiku.
Atiku was believed to have funded the 2015 Governorship elections of the Governor.
The commissioners, it is believed were nominated for the government by Atiku.
An Atiku source told Armadanews.com that many more persons will come with him from the National Assembly.
