Non academic staff of Nigerian Universities on Monday made good their threat of an indefinite strike by forcing most of the universities to close down
From the University of Lagos to university of Jos, Osun State university among others, the workers stopped work and barricaded the homes of most of the school’s vice chancellors.
The workers had earlier embacked on strike in September on their welfare before the government sought their understanding and promised to intervene.
The workers are angry that government has not done anything on the matters brought before it on their plight.
Following the strike, most universities remsined in the dark and lacked water because of the strike.
