Filling stations across the country on Tuesday were taken over by long queues due to the unexpected fuel shortage that Nigerians woke up to witness.
From Lagos to Abuja to Kaduna, Kano, Edo, Imo, Plateau, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and others, the story of return of petrol queues rented the air.
Consequently, there were yhe usual traffic snarl on most cities in the country like Lagos and Abuja due to motorists struggling to go to the filling stations to get the product.
However, contrary to the comments credited to the NNPC Groip Managing Director, Maikanti Baru that he has more than one billion litres of fuel as reserve in his tank, an official of IPMAN said NNPC should he held accountable for the return of fuel queues.
IPMAN also said the fuel queue will last between two and three days before it will else.
There have been nothing about fuel crisis in Nigeria in the last two to three years since President Muhammadu Buhari came on board.
