One of Atiku Abubakar’s daughters, Fatima has given reasons why she could not join her father, Atiku Abubakar to the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Fatima, 45, and a medical doctor who is the Adamawa State commissioner for health said she loves what she is doing in the health sector in her state so far, and also cherishes her appointment.
Speaking to the Premium Times on Wednesday, Fatima she said she is committed to her duties on health matters of the state.
Atiku left the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the PDP last week and had long rejoined his colleagues at the opposition party.
Atiku is expecting that his supporters will defect with him to the PDP, and had called on them to do so. He told his supporters when he visited the headquarters of the PDP on Tuesday to return “home” with him.
