President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday inaugurated the remaining seven new permanent secretaries out of the total 22 he appointed recently at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It was a brief event that took place before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Fifteen out of the 22 recently-appointed permanent secretaries had earlier been inaugurated by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on August 15 when he was acting President.
Those Buhari inaugurated on Tuesday included Mustapha Sulaiman (Kano), Adekunle
Olusegun Adeyemi (Oyo), Mrs. Ekaro Chukwumogwu (Rivers), Adedayo Apata (Ekiti), Abdulkadri Muazu (Kaduna), Osuji Ndubusi (Imo), and Bitrus Nabasu (Plateau).
Their inauguration has been made possible with the retirement of permanent secretaries representing their states.
