President Muhammadu Buhari has met with Nigeria’s Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives on the problematic security challenges in the country.
Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker Yakubu Dogara are believed by Buhari to occupy offices that can get the buy in of Nigerians on how to live peacefully together.
Top on the agenda, sources said, is believed to be the recent killings in Benue State where the Fulani herdsmen are suspects.
The meeting of the trior has coincided with the call by the former military President Ibrahim Babangida, that efforts should be made to check the killings going on across the country.
Babangida is seeking for urgent solution to the problem.
