Senator Magnus Abe has vowed not to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC) because of provocations from the minister of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi.
Abe represents Rivers Southeast senatorial district in the National Assembly.
Though Abe accuses Amaechi of being the cause of the problems in the party in Rivers State, he vowed not to leave the APC all the same regardless of the level of provocation from the minister.
Of late Abe’s sore relationship with Amaechi has threatened the peace of the party in Rivers State.
Abe is believed to be interested in running as governor of Rivers State in 2019, but Amaechi, wants another person, and has variously accused Abe of undermining his authority as the APC leader in the state.
